burning disk nero

burning disk with nero???

i cant seem to get it to create the bootable disk in nero!It goes almost to complete then fails in the last few bytes!tried several varyations in nero 7 ultra no luck yet!!!anyone help please want to do a clean install on a brand new hard drive, with brand new graphics card !!!

You do not do anything to suppress or extract anything!
You simply "Burn Image to Disc" and it will work as it is supposed to.
I have burned both the Vista x86 and the Vista x64 .ISO with Nero 6 using DVD+RW discs. Both DVDs worked flawlessly to install both versions of Vista in a Dual Boot configuration on a 160GB hard drive.
DO NOT EXTRACT ANYTHING FROM THE .ISO! BURN IMAGE TO DISC!
If you open Nero StartSmart, make sure you have DVD selected at the top center, then click on the "Copy and Backup" icon (second from the right) and finally "Burn Image to Disc."
If you open Nero Burning ROM, you select "DVD-ROM(ISO)"
If you open Nero Express, you select "Disc Image or Saved Project"
Any one of the 3 methods will copy the .ISO image to a disc.

I guess it depends on your objectives. I don't know anything about MCE and have never played with it, but if your objective is to setup a functional system for immediate use, I would stick with MCE for now. Vista is a Beta OS and there are lots of things that still need to be fixed. Since it's Beta and has debug code in it, it also will run considerably slower than MCE. Vista is a very resource hungry beast!
